INGUSHETIA – For the second time today, militants have wounded military servicemen in attacks on military convoys. This afternoon’s attack took place on the road between the villages of Yandare and Surkhkhi in the Nazranovsky District. Three shooters reportedly carried out the attack, then fled in two vehicles (an UAZ 452 and a Niva), but soon abandoned them and fled on foot into the forest.

Terrorism Responsible For Gas Pipeline Explosion
CHECHNYA – Terrorism is attributed to an early Wednesday morning explosion of a gas pipeline in Grozny which killed a Interior Ministry Troops serviceman and wounded another. CHECHNYA – IA Regnum reports that two NVF “accomplices were arrested today. An unidentified 47-year-old resident of Belgatoi, Shalinsky Disrict, was taken into custody today at around 12:00 by police and Interior Ministry Troops’ personnel. According to investigators, from March 2000 until January 2002, the suspect provided food and medicine to fighters belonging to the NVF commanded by Movsayev.

MOSCOW – On 7 April at 21:30, a group of “skinheads” attacked and killed a 24-year-old Ingushetian man near the “Vykhino” metro station.
